Fred Walter

Fred Walter is the managing partner of Walter & Prince, a Healdsburg, California law firm specializing in OSHA, crisis management and “serious and willful misconduct” defense. The firm’s diverse clientele includes construction companies, manufacturers, technology start-ups, farm labor contractors, food processors, wineries, vineyard and olive orchards, and public entities.

He is admitted to practice in California, all federal courts in California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U. S. Supreme Court. Together with his partner, Lisa Prince, he is the author of the “Workplace Safety” chapter of the California State Bar publication Advising California Employers and Employees. He holds an AV rating by Martindale-Hubble, the highest rating for competence and ethical practice.

Fred is a member of the Employers Advisory Council of the California Chamber of Commerce, the Legal Affairs Council of the Associated General Contractors of California, and the OSHA Committee of the American Bar Association. In 2012 he was included in the Cal/OSHA Reporter’s list of “Most Influential People” in California’s safety and health community. He is an associate member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and of WINOS, a Northern California wine industry safety group.

Lisa Prince is a partner at Walter & Prince, a Healdsburg, California law firm specializing in OSHA, crisis management and “serious and willful misconduct” defense. As a former civil litigator, she is a strong advocate, partnering effectively with the firm's clients to identify and achieve realistic litigation solutions. Lisa Baiocchi

Lisa Baiocchi is an associate at Walter & Prince LLP, a Healdsburg, California law firm specializing in OSHA, crisis management, and “serious and willful misconduct” defense.  Lisa represents the firm’s clients in all aspects of Cal/OSHA and Fed/OSHA administrative process and defense, as well as “serious and willful misconduct” claims.  She has also assisted employers with crisis response, improving and/or updating their safety programs, as well as managing pre- and post-appeal abatement issues before Cal/OSHA.
