A specialist in workplace safety, Mr. Walter works with employers, safety directors, risk managers and human resources administrators on the development of effective, preventive safety programs which answer regulatory mandates.

An effective advocate, Mr. Walter now specializes in representing employers in OSHA compliance matters, Labor Code section 132a discrimination claims, and "Serious & Willful Misconduct" claims.

An experienced advisor, Mr. Walter supervises the legal aspects of crises. He counsels employers on both preventive and post-traumatic handling of workplace violence issues in association with Dr. Corey Bercun, a San Francisco psychologist who specializes in critical incident debriefing.

A dynamic speaker, Mr. Walter is frequently invited to talk on a wide range of topics related to workplace safety for the firm's clients and for professional organizations, including the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the National Safety Management Society (NSMS), and "The Safety Center" in Sacramento, California. He has been a guest lecturer on the legal aspects of safety and health at San Jose State University.
